Webinars vs On-line Classes

Webinars:  Webinars are live educational sessions that are held online.  According to the OCILB, they are treated the same as in-person classroom training. For this reason, there is no limit to the amount of webinars you may take to obtain the credit hours you need.

However if you take the same webinar more than once (having the same course number), the OCILB may have trouble recording the course.  For this reason, it is not advisable to take the same course more than once within your renewal period.

On-line courses:  On-line courses are different from live webinars.  On-line courses are usually on-demand and can be accessed anytime.  They are usually self-paced and may not have a person  leading the session. For this reason, there is a limit to how many on-line courses you can take.  For one-year renewals, the limit is 4 on-line credit hours.  For three-year renewals, the limit is 12 on-line credit hours.

All of the courses available at Matthews Electrical Services are either webinars or live, in-person classes.  Therefore there is no limit to the amount of courses you can take.
